Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
the top resting on square tapering Herm legs, with ormolu caps in the form of a classically draped maiden, with floral band, and a laurel and pine cone pendant. The legs finished with pairs of ormolu sandaled feet. The whole on a plinth base, with moulded edge raised slightly on block feet.
Date c 1850.
