Pair of Colonial Dragon Chandeliers C1910

Each chandelier is dressed with approximately 36 original large hand-cut antique crystals with high lead content (34-38%, typical of this period, as opposed to 15-24% modern crystals), which give you such a beautiful and dazzling array of coloured reflections. A large hand cut crystal ball suspends from the bottom.

The frame is solid and has a lovely patina which would fit in nicely in both period and modern homes; it has been sympathetically cleaned and restored without losing the patina.

These chandeliers were individually hand crafted so there are some variations but none distracts from their overall beauty and presence. Please see detailed photos.

Each chandelier has 4 bulbs in the upper gallery; 4 bulbs in the lower gallery and 1 bulb mounted on each dragon; providing 12 bulbs in total.

Each chandelier has been professionally rewired and restored to the highest standard using only the best components, ready for immediate installation.

Although this is listed as a pair and was salvaged were acquired by us as a pair; there will be slight variations between the chandeliers as they were built by hand.

Salvaged antique chandeliers rarely come with their original hanging chain and ceiling rose intact. For safety reasons we supply our chandeliers with replacement solid metal chain and top quality cast brass ceiling rose with antiqued effect, which is custom-made specially for us using an original rose as template. The chain and the ceiling rose compliment the chandelier beautifully.

This pair of chandeliers can be delivered to most places in mainland UK for £100 including packaging cost.

We welcome viewing or collection from S44 area, which is Chesterfield about 2 minutes drive off junction 29 of M1. Some of our chandeliers are being exhibited in our Antiques centre in Lincolnshire so please contact us before travelling.
