19th.c. Campaign Chest of Drawers C.1880.

Description

Fine example of the classic 19th.c. officer’s campaign chest of drawers in mahogany c.1880. Designed to travel with an officer on long military campaigns it is solidly constructed in two sections with solid mahogany top, sides and front. Featuring two short drawers over three long and raised on turned mahogany feet. To further protect it from the rigours of travel the corners and edges are protected with brass bindings and the handles fold flush with the drawer fronts. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 36", depth 17½", height 38".
