Large Edwardian Oval Mahogany Framed Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

A large elegant antique Edwardian oval mirror in mahogany with stringing and inlays dating from circa 1910. A very decorative item with bevelled mirror, could be used vertically as a hall mirror or horizontally as an overmantle mirror above a fireplace. It has a richly figured mahogany frame with stringing around the edges and paterae inlay designs to each corner.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Wear and marks commensurate with age. Small split near inlay (see photo) and a small scratch to frame. Bevelled glass – some slight foxing in places.

Frame Height: 25 inches

Mirror Width: 34 inches

Mirror Height: 22 inches
