Antique Burr Walnut Serpentine Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Top quality antique walnut serpentine shaped chest on chest in good condition, dating from around the 1910 period. This piece has many fine features, so please enlarge all the images. The top has a dental moulding & it sits on splayed legs. All the drawers are graduated, with locks & original brass handles. The drawers are finely dovetailed & the drawer bottoms are solid timbers. There is also a brushing slide in the middle. It's burr walnut right down the front with cross banding on the drawers. This chest on chest has a lovely warm colour & loads of character.

Depth - 18", 46 cm

Height - 55.5", 141 cm
