Description

Stunning art deco Moser lidded vase/bonbon dish set on a pedestal foot with polished pontil. Octagonal form with sapphire coloured overlay cabochons and gilded decoration to the surrounding panels alternating with leaves and wiggles. Broad gilded bands and the cut knop is gilded. The lid insert lip also has a gilded band. Unmarked but a well documented Moser design dating from the 1920s.

It measures 9" high and just over 5" wide. Condition is very good; there is a small bruise to the inside of the insert lip of the lid (see final photo), no glass loss and clearly doesn't detract from use or aesthetic. A little rubbing to the gilding , minimal marks to the blue overlay.
