A Walnut Victorian Period Antique Wellington Chest

Description

A walnut Victorian Period antique wellington chest. Having a rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured walnut above an arrangement of seven graduating mahogany lined drawers, each with turned drawer pulls. The drawers flanked by walnut pilasters with carved corbels, the right hand pilaster acting as the "Wellington" locking mechanism. Supported on a solid walnut plinth English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 21" wide x 14" deep x 45" high

Condition: This wellington chest is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed.
