Description

A charming vintage Cocktail Shaker probably by the well renowned Silversmith, James Dixon of Sheffield. These are usually made by this maker but this one has a different mark of a bird holding an envelope.

Everything else remains the same as the James Dixon examples including the design / pattern number of L1976. The full mark can be found on the inside of the lid, it also marked "Made In England" and " 1 Pint ".

The front has a acid etched picture of a Cockerel or Rooster, made famous by James Dixon.

Excellent undamaged condition standing 8" tall.
