Alfred Didier was a painter of battle scenes and landscapes. He was born in Paris on 19 October, 1840 and died in Tours on 18 October, 1892. Didier was a student of Barrial and exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1864 and 1879. He has works in the museums of Avignon, Nantes and Rouen.
