A superb example of a 19th century Bureau Plat or writing table in the Louis XV style, on ormolu mounted cabriole legs, with three frieze drawers to the front with three opposing dummy drawers to the back( so can be used in the centre of a room).All metalwork of good detailed quality, and a desk of excellent proportions and large size, also being of an earlier date than many of this type, on an oak carcass with oak lined drawers. all in excellent condition and colour. measuring 63" wide by 34" deep by 31" high
