Fabulous machine age design with fluted edges and legs and exceptional original brass handles. The whole suite is in excellent condition, having been cleaned and polished in our workshops.
Desk
Star of the show is the very large double sided kneehole desk. 10 drawers to the front plus two shallow cupboards hidden in the rear. Symmetrically arranged burr walnut veneers across the top, sides, front and rear. Mahogany corners with crisp fluted detail, mahogany mouldings and plinth. Retaining the original oversized brass modernist handles. Superior quality with mahogany drawer linings and six lever locks. Unusually for a desk of this period the top has holes for telephone cables. Keys supplied.

Side Table
Very elegant two drawer side table. Matching the desk with the same symmetrical burr walnut veneers, mouldings, fluted corner detail and handles. Raised on slim tapering and fluted legs.

Filing Cabinet
Unusual two door filing cabinet. Open the doors to reveal two hinged metal trays divided for stationery and filing. With the same burr walnut veneers and fluted corner detail. Slightly different handles.

Pair of Armchairs
Completing the suite is a lovely pair of mahogany framed armchairs. Perfect companions to the desk with matching fluted detail to the arm supports and repeated moulding. Upholstery is excellent, recently recovered in a well chosen faux leather.
