Antique Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique mahogany chest of drawers is very good quality & in good original condition. It has a serpentine shaped front, chamfered corners with blind fretwork, a cross banded top, original brass handles & sits on bracket feet. The drawers are finely dovetailed & have solid timber bottoms. They also have locks & brass escutcheons. This chest has loads of character & a great shape, being quite slim from back to front. I would say it dates to around the 1890-1900 period.

Width - 35", 89 cm

Depth - 17.3", 44 cm

Height - 33.5", 85 cm
