Victorian Porcelain Soane & Smith London Mirror C1880

Description

This beautiful ANTIQUE PORCELAIN MIRROR bears the original paper label of the Retailers SOANE & SMITH of OXFORD STREET and KENSINGTON HIGH STREET and dates from circa 1880.

Mounted on its original plush-covered base, the porcelain frame is decorated, in high relief, with applied ROSES, MORNING GLORY flowers, tiny NARCISSUS heads and FERN LEAVES, giving a very delicate appearance.

There is no restoration or cracks.

As always with this style of mirror there are a few minor losses to petal tips and one tendril.
