Antique Writing Table, Regency Mahogany Desk, Side, Hall, English c1830

This is an English, antique, Regency, writing table

Raised on generous turned, tapered and reeded legs terminating in brass cupped white ceramic castors, the frieze features blind panel ends and twin mahogany lined drawers, with exceptionally stout fronts, to the fore dressed with double neo-classical ring pulls.

The top displays wonderful colour and graining and is edged with a wide cross band and bold edge moulding. This writing table makes a viable alternative to the heavier pedestal desks with the height of this piece an added advantage.
