An Exquisite Quality Late 19th Century French Mahogany Oval Occasional Table possibly by Paul Sormani. The beautifully figured top with mahogany cross banding, having a bowed frieze with a single drawer. Supported upon slender curved cabriole legs. All beautifully mounted in the finest quality ormolu, the frieze decorated with trailing leaves, the drawer and borders with panelled mouldings. The knees mounted with stylised fruits over lapping leaves and garrya husks, with acanthus sheathed paw feet. Stamped to the drawer and underside with the retailers name "Jetleys South Audley St. London.W.”
