Christian Davies Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The canted corners with fine figural mounts above trailing laurel leaves. The central bow front glazed door opening to reveal plate glass shelves, a mirrored back and silk lined base, again with a stunning finely cast ormolu plaque depicting a classical maiden. The glazed ends of serpentine outline again with finely cast ormolu beading and supported on elegant French cabriole supports with ormolu sabots. French circa1880-1900. The quality of this cabinet would indicate it was made by one of the top Parisian cabinet makers of the time such as Paul Sormani or Francois Linke.

Dimensions: 61" high x 30" wide x 17" deep
Condition: This vitrine is in stunning condition, it has been re-polished in our workshops and all the ormolu has been removed and re-gilded
