This is a superb example of an English burr walnut bracket clock by the premier clockmaker Elliott.

The burr walnut case has a wonderful rich colour and patina and the grain really does shine through, this is complimented by the original dial with a contrasting silver chapter ring. There are figural spandrels to each corner of the dial, a central floral motif and decorative mounts to the front of the case. The glass is in perfect condition.

Each side of the clock has a glass panel to allow you to see the stunning quality movement as it is working.
This particular clock was retailed by the clock specialist Dent of London in around 1960 but very much in the Victorian style and design.

The movement is an outstanding piece of engineering and is totally original, it is one of the finest clock movements you will ever see.
The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service by Alan Williams of Plymouth clocks, who is a Fellow of the British Horological Institute with over 40 years experience working with high quality clocks so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

The clock still has attached its original operating instructions and key.
It is keeping accurate time to within 1 minute a week.
Overall this is an outstanding clock and probably the best English bracket clock made in the last 100 years

The clock comes with a full 12 month warranty.
Dimensions of clock: Height 13" with the handle up , Width is 9", Depth 5.5", the dial is 6" square.
