Description

A most attractive pair of late Victorian or Edwardian wine coasters dating to around 1900., Also know as slides as they were slid across the table, these have been re-covered with fresh green baize on the underside to protect your table.

The sides are beautifully pierced or reticulated with raised garlands. The rim has an attractive raised border and each is inset with the original turned wood.

Excellent condition, the rims spanning 6 1/2", the opening measuring approximately 4 1/2" and each standing 2 3/4" tall.
