Antique English Victorian Moore Brothers Porcelain Oil Lamp

A fine and rare Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Porcelain Oil Lamp from Moore Brothers of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire { 1872 - 1905 }, the column and integral font with restrained floral decoration heightened with gilding, the base with puce printed Maker's Mark, viz. MOORE BROS, Rd. No. 190756 { for 1892 }, and ENGLAND. Retaining it's original superb quality Messenger's Patent Duplex Rise and Fall brass burner, the brass collar stamped MESSENGER'S PATENT, the wick winder buttons each marked MESSENGERS DUPLEX PATENT, all in full working order. Illustrated here with a really lovely florally etched and panelled pink glass shade of the period. Replacement clear glass chimney as one would expect.
