Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
This is a wonderful and skilfully made table, it is a 19th century piece, the wood used to make the parquetry top is very old, it has fine solid examples of Yew, Burr Elm, Walnut, Oak and several others composed in 6 panels, 2 star shaped and 2 lozenge shaped, all set into a fruitwood frame.

The base of the table is made in Oak and has a slight carved decoration around, I think it is safe to say that this being a craftsman made piece was a one off and there won’t be another like it, it is good and sound no loose joints and it has a marvellous patina
The table is 45” wide, 60” long and 29” high and 23” under knee height
