A Mens 1950s Zenith Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A mens 1950s Zenith wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality hand-winding movement, calibre 40, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed with the Zenith name and it also has the serial number 4,719,597 which dates it back to 1958.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it is a good size for a 1950s piece. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The inside of the snap-on case back has the Zenith name. The winding crown has the Zenith logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with just light marking, barely noticeable to the naked eye. Dauphine shaped hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

A new black leather strap with contrasting white stitching has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
