As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this high quality one piece Japanese ivory okimono of a beautiful Bijin , she stands holding a basket of flowers in one hand and a single spray in the other , her flowing kimono is decorated in fine detail and has multi folded silk swags to the rear, her obi sash winds around her waist and is incredibly detailed , tied in a trailing knot to the rear, the Bijins hair is a delight with multiple bunches of immaculately presented hair held up with a comb and sprigs of flowers , she is signed to the underside with a two character mark that reads KOICHI-TO (carved by Koichi) .
A wonderful one piece fine quality ivory figure , the second of our listings direct from a private Cheshire collection, you will want to add her to yours !
