A 1930s Omega Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 40.6L T2 15P, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and it has the serial number 7,163,045 which dates it back to around 1930. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case has the early Omega logo inside the hinged case back. There is some unevenness to the case back but other than that, the case is in good condition.

The lens is plastic. There is very minor marking but it is not too visible to the naked eye.

The white enamel dial is signed Omega. As well as the black numbers, there is an outer 24 hour dial in red. There is some damage at number 11 and some radiating hairline cracks.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
