Gents 1930s Waltham Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

Gents 1930s Waltham wrist watch.

The watch has a signed hand-winding movement, with nine jewels, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement has the serial number 29,199,142 which dates it back to 1936.

The watch measures 27mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs. The case is Denisteel (a patented stainless steel blend) by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison.

The signed subtle two tone dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later brown leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
