Antique Serpentine Sideboard Walnut Buffet Credenza Server Cabinet c1860

This is an antique, Victorian credenza dating to c.1860.

Exquisitely dressed in bold carving of walnuts, fruit and foliate, the well figured select walnut really is first class.

In demi lune, serpentine form the cabinet displays mirrored twin doors to the front and further doors to the canted corners each concealing storage with inner shelves.

Above the fine marble serving surface the mirror back is framed by a generous walnut stem moulding rising from a stylised root form and cresting with a pierced, carved decoration of fruit and foliate.
