This is an antique, Victorian bookcase cabinet
Raised on a shaped plinth base and featuring chamfered, field panel sides, this library bookcase offers two internal fixed waterfall shelves all finished in a deep and rich ruddy waxed polish to the oak.
The doors are simply and elegantly decorated at the perimeter with a carved guilloché moulding, repeated in the frieze beneath the planked top with carved edge moulding mirroring the plinth decoration at the foot.
