Art Nouveau Mahogany Bureau Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A very stylish, art nouveau mahogany bureau bookcase in the manner of Liberty and co. Of quality manufacture, made from solid mahogany (including all internal drawer linings) and with lovely simple art nouveau lines. The pair of glazed doors in the top section open to access a shelved interior. Underneath the bureau fall front opens to reveal a leather writing surface and a series of pigeon holes and stationary drawers. Underneath this there is an arrangement of three drawers, each fitted with nice crisp brass ring pull handles. The top section is flanked by organic art nouveau carved floral brackets, which each support a small shelf.

This stylish is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
