Antique Desk-top Rocking Blotter in Scottish Agate C.1880

Description

A fantastic piece of Scottish Agate was used to create this very stylish blotter, a fine quality example to grace the top of the finest desks. The edges are all bevelled and the handle created from a stunning spherical polished piece of banded Agate.

The handle unscrews to dismantle the blotter, enabling fresh blotting paper to be fitted. Victorian in era, dating to around 1880, the blotter remains in superb undamaged condition. 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 2" to top of handle.
