Description

A large early 19th Century oak document box, the hinged lid, opening to a document space, above frieze drawers. The whole cross-banded with pollard oak, edged with boxwood stringing. The frieze with bone cartouche-shaped escutcheon plates, and the whole on four brass ball feet.

H 7 1/2 inches; w 18 inches; d 14 inches.
