18th Century Walnut & Burr Elm Cabinet

Description

A lovely quality 18th Century Italian walnut and burr elm cabinet, the top section having two drawers with carved lions heads either side, with also a smaller drawer in the center, the main section having ten drawers with a cupboard door in the center opening to reveal three smaller drawers, with fluted pilasters either side with carved capitals which is also the same on the bottom section, the bottom section also having three drawers and a two door cupboard below with brass mask handles on the front, opening to reveal a single shelf, standing on carved claw feet, the cabinet having lovely quality original brass work and locks.

39" x 18" x 78 1/2" high.

99cms x 46cms x 200cms high.

Martlesham Antiques is a family run business and has been trading since 1984. Located in Suffolk just outside Woodbridge, Martlesham Antiques is run from a spacious thatched cottage housing nine large showrooms with a vast adjacent car park.

Specialising in 18th and 19th Century furniture, together with creating custom hand-made furniture which is supplied to various interior designers, trade and the retail market. Every piece on the showroom floor is in excellent condition and ready to go straight into the buyers home or premises.

All of Martlesham Antiques furniture is hand polished by their own French polishers and restorers to a very high standard. We are also a member of LAPADA, the association of art and antiques.
