Description

A vintage 1920s Swiss .800 silver Lanco pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 – 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed Lanco, 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 49.7 mm diameter excluding the stem. The Swiss silver case has .800 silver marks and is also stamped L.W.C. ( Lanco Watch Company ). The case has traces of a rose gold wash to the bezel and outer back although some has worn of over a period of time, the case has light surface marks from use and mild bruiseing to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial has an old repair between 4 & 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has gold coloured hands
