A fabulous Victorian novelty cruet set standing on a naturalistic base mounted with the most charming scene of a child jumping over a fence, his foot supporting the rope style holders accommodating the cut crystal and EPNS pepperette and the matching mustard pot. I was lucky enough to find an antique mustard spoon that fits perfectly and has been included in the sale of this piece.The front of the base is mounted with an oval open salt with a lavishly gilded interior. The underside has a makers mark which I haven''t identified as yet, certainly a Sheffield silversmith.
