Description

Superb large pair of lidded Chinese cloisonne vases set on carved wood stands. Dating from c.1900, gilt metal base and wires with deep blue main ground and red and pink chrysanthemum or dahlia flowers and foliage with butterflies and lovely bright green borders. A true pair with full mirrored image. Inside the lid, the whole of the inside and the base is the classic turquoise blue. Very fine quality statement pieces with an amazing pop of colour.

They measure 12" high on the base, 10 1/4" off the base and 7 1/2" wide. They weigh approx. 2kg each. Condition is excellent with no damage, dents or losses and very light surface wear (I can find only 1 small scratch over the pair). Light surface wear to the gilded metal mounts.
