Watercolour Henley by Arthur Rouse. Circa 1910

Description

Fine landscape watercolour of Leander Meadows, Henley on Thames signed by R.W.Arthur Rouse R.B.A. Recently re-mounted and framed. All in fine un-faded condition with no repairs or over painting. Arthur Rouse R.B.A. Exhibited between 1883 and 1927 with 64 works at R.B.A., 45 at Royal Academy, 6 at R.H.A., 13 at R.O.I and 3 at R.S.A. He is a noted watercolour artist of landscapes and also an etcher. This is a fine example of his work.

Size; 20" x 16" overall, 14" x 10" picture size.
