The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover and also an inner hinged cover. A winding key is included.

The watch measures 55mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the two case backs. The front of the case is in good order with just the odd minor mark. The case back has engine turned detail and a central vacant cartouche. There is some unevenness to the case back.

The glass lens is in good condition with just the occasional small mark and a 1cm patch of light marking, almost like a smudge, which shows only at certain angles.
The enamel dial is in good condition.

The watch comes on an English silver albert which is hallmarked for 1904. Each of the links has the lion passant silver mark. There is an antique George III 1788 Spade type token which has been adapted to be used as a fob on the chain.
