A Grand Antique Pine Study Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Dating from the 1920's, a splendid large old pine desk in excellent order throughout. The top section consisting of two glazed doors, two small drawers and two cubby holes at either side - the glass is the original.

Below the felt inlaid writing surface are three drawers and a cupboard either side of the knee hole. Behind the right hand door are three sliding paper trays, and in the left hand side cupboard are two shelves.

Recently stripped of its original paint, it is now in the bare wood ready for waxing or painting.

Knee hole height: 25", width: 19".
