Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The lamp measures 50cm in height from the base of the lightbulb holder; with a 21cm square base including the lion's claw feet. The green/black granite base is 16cm square, and the central column is 34cm in height. The top granite base - which looks darker than the piece on the bottom, is 8.5cm square.

All of the brass sections are original, including the top and lower ornate brass sections around the granite, and the brass lion's claw feet. The use of granite instead of onyx is unusual in this style of lamp, and both sections are in excellent condition.
The lamp can be viewed in Surrey. We have included p&p within the UK mainland only, but can supply quotes for delivery outside.
