Description

Large mid 18th.c. Oak gateleg dining table c.1760. Rare in this size, it will comfortably seat 10 people. Plank top on an exceptional ‘spider’ double gateleg base featuring 8 barley twist carved legs and stretchers.

Condition is solid and sturdy with some earlier repairs to the top and a couple of holes to one end around a knot in the timber.

Dimensions: width 71", depth 23"/69", height 30".
