A Magnificent Burr Walnut Victorian Period Serpentine Antique Credenza

Description

A magnificent burr walnut Victorian Period serpentine antique credenza. Having a serpentine shaped top veneered in the finest burr walnut with tulip banding to the frieze and floral marquetry inlaid detail. The central rectangular door having a stunning central marquetry inlaid panel and opening to reveal a velvet lined shelved interior, flanked by half round ormolu mounted columns with ribbons and floral marquetry detail. The serpentine glazed ends opening to reveal further velvet lined shelves and having figural ormolu mounts. The whole supported on a shaped burr walnut and ormolu mounted plinth English in the French taste circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 74" wide x 43" high x 16" deep

Condition: This credenza is in stunning condition
