Victorian Coal Scuttle and Shovel

Description

This is a beautiful Victorian copper coal scuttle with a matching shovel that slides into the top when not in use.

It is in excellent condition, and still has the original two turned wood handles on the container, and lovely handle on the shovel.

There is a decorative relief design around the top of the scuttle, and around the lower handle - see photo 2.

It measures 53cm in length at the longest part; 44cm in height, with a 29cm opening for the coal. The shovel measures 43.5cm in length. The top handle is 16.5cm in length and the lower one is 13.5cm. Both items are in extremely good condition.

We have included postage and package within the UK mainland only in the price, but we are happy to give quotes for outside areas.

The coal scuttle can be viewed in Surrey if required.
