Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1920s.
They are solid and sturdy, the drop in seats are upholstered in a light pink velour fabric – some marks and scuffs, useable but would benefit re-upholstery. One of the chair backs has an old mend where it has split and been re-glued (see photo) at some point.
