George III Silver Tumbler Cup Thomas Wallis C1760-80.

A rare and interesting George III, solid silver, tumbler cup with a reeded rim, probably by Thomas Wallis between 1760 and 1780. It is hallmarked on the base: the maker''s mark is clear but the other marks are fairly well rubbed (see photos).
 
 
 
CONDITION (see photos)
 
This tumbler cup is in very good condition for its age with one very light ding on one side (not noticeable unless you catch it with the light at a certain angle) and just a little light superficial scratching.
 
 
 
WEIGHT: 64.9 grams approx.
 
DIMENSIONS: 47mm height x 60.8mm diameter approx.
