Description

Unusual pair of mid 19th.c. mahogany hall chairs c.1870. Of unique design, featuring low backs with turned top rail and hoop handles over a solid seat with pierced apron below. Inch thick slab sides with elaborate piereced decoration and a shaped detail at the foot, joined with an octagonal section stretcher. Excellent colour and condition, original through.
