A good quality and rare writing bureau in satinwood. Of good construction, with attractive satinwood veneers on to a solid mahogany carcass. The fall has stunning quartered veneers , is cross banded and decorated with ebony stringing inlay. It opens to reveal a nicely finished and fitted interior, with a series of pigeon holes, drawers and a lockable central cupboard. There is an arrangement of 4 long, graduated , drawers giving good storage capacity, all cross banded and fitted with their original brass handles and locks. All standing on strong bracket feet. This stunning bureau has a great colour and is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
