An Outstanding Set of Twelve 18th Century Silver Dinner Forks.

With so much antique flatware scrapped and melted, a surviving set of twelve dinner forks in Old English pattern is an extremely rare find nowadays. These are a fine matching set of twelve from the late 18th Century. Table or dinner forks from this period are always in great demand, made in smaller numbers than Victorian examples and rarely surviving intact as straight sets.They have no monograms or crests.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits and the tines are in good condition, with slight rounding to the tips commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Matching, clear and readable. Some losses to the Maker's mark.
