Antique Desk, Leather Library Writing Table, Victorian English Oak Study c1900

This is an antique, Victorian leather topped desk dating to c1900.

Raised on castors, ring turned legs rise to the apron featuring a pair of field panelled drawers each with turned pulls. Above, a quality moulding edges the framed recess featuring an inset leather top with gold tooling.

Solid in construction, the English quarter sawn oak displays good grain interest and a warm patina throughout. The drawer fronts are thick with mahogany boxing.

A classic and modest writing table, solid joints, delivered waxed and polished ready for the home.
