William IV Mahogany Settee C.1830.

Description

Imposing William IV mahogany three seater sofa c.1830. Solid mahogany frame with crisply carved papyrus leaf detail to the arm fronts, repeated on the front legs. High back and arms and a generous sprung seat, recently recovered in a well chosen Liberty style wovan fabric. On brass and ceramic castors. Very good condition, solid and sturdy with a little minor wear to the finish, very clean covers.
