A Vintage 1916 Silver Waltham Equity Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A vintage 1916 silver Waltham Equity pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The jewelled movement is signed Equity Watch Company Boston, seven jewels, USA and it has the serial number 20431430 which dates it back to 1915.

Equity was a brand name used by Waltham.

The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case is has Birmingham hallmarks for 1916 with the case makers mark A.L.D. Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a watch of its age.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.
