1930s Federal Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

1930s Federal full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated case is the Moon model made by The Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the bottom edge.

The inner dust cover is inscribed Presented to Frank Ellis by the employees of the Marsden Equit. Ind. Socy. Ltd. On his leaving society's service. 8th Aug 1935.

The lens is in good condition.

The enamel dial is signed Federal with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has it's original gold hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
