Description

A good quality mantel clock in an ebonised case with brass inlay. Glass side and top apertures. A very well engraved gilt dial signed 'Lewis & Son, Brighton'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. An unusual design of hand set adjustment to the mechanism. Circa 1860.
